The tracks on this album were all recorded back in 2009, while I was studying at Dartington College of Art and travelled to the west coast of Canada to do a project on vocal improvisation. It was a time of sunlight on water, vibrant autumn leaves and transformation.

All the songs here were recorded in the moment of their creation. I release this album with deep gratitude for those who walked the journey with me during that project - especially for the inspiration and support of vocal improvisers Bisia Belina and Robin Gillmor.
